Rumpel vs. The Ogre Resistance
When DreamWorks asked us to cook something up for the fourth and final installment of the Shrek series, we couldn't help but gravitate toward the newest villain in the franchiseRumpelstiltskin himself. We concepted, designed and developed the mind-bending website RumpelDeals.com as a hub for all his mayhem and slimy salesmanship. We also built his social network through Twitter, Facebook and YouTubeand then ran his insidious infomercial on late night TV. Midway through the campaign, we launched a limited edition series of propaganda-style ogre posters. A sharp contrast to Rumpels attack, these posters relied on a basic ink-stamp style (perfect for ogre street teams and their rudimentary tools) to build a revolutionary resistance throughout the kingdom.
